INFECTION Control
Tristel Fuse for Surfaces is a high-level and sporicidal disinfectant solution. It combines the powerful biocidal efficacy of chlorine dioxide with excellent cleaning action.
Tristel Fuse for Surfaces is classified as a biocide under the EU Biocides Regulation.
Tristel Fuse for Surfaces incorporates two separate compartments that contain 50ml Tristel Base solution (citric acid) and 50 mL Tristel Activator solution (sodium chlorite). When mixed upon bursting the sachet, Tristel’s proprietary chlorine dioxide chemistry is generated for dilution into five litres of water.
Tristel Fuse for Surfaces is sporicidal, mycobactericidal, virucidal, fungicidal and bactericidal in five minutes. Chlorine dioxide has been tested in accredited laboratories worldwide and is proven effective against a wide range of microorganisms, including:
- Clostridium difficile
- Norovirus
- Escherichia coli (E. Coli)
- Mycobacterium terrae (surrogate of Mycobacterium tuberculosis)
- Aspergillus brasiliensis (formerly niger)
- Adenovirus
- Methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA)

Tristel Fuse for Surfaces has been extensively tested for compatibility with numerous materials and surfaces. It is safe to use on most floors, walls, mattresses and stainless steel surfaces.
